ne of my goals in writing is the liberation of good art criticism from the Acela Corridor. That’s why I spent last week visiting museums, galleries, and collectors in North Carolina. It’s a big place, and its big-hearted people welcomed me, a dour Vermonter. I traveled a thousand miles and saw lots of wonderful art.
