Gen. Flynn’s brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Leslie Flynn filed the 75 million dollar lawsuit in federal court in New York City. They claim CNN deceptively edited video footage to portray them as QAnon supporters.

CNN ran a segment called “CNN Goes Inside A Gathering Of QAnon Followers” in February, which included the Flynn family reciting the “Where we go one, we go all” pledge on video. The Flynns claim the pledge, which has been linked to the Q Anon movement in the past, was not about Q Anon and they are “not followers or supporters of any extremist or terrorist groups, including QAnon.”

“CNN’s false attributions exposed Plaintiffs to public scorn, ridicule, and contempt, and lowered their esteem in the community, causing insult, embarrassment, humiliation and substantial injury to Plaintiffs’ reputations,” the suit says.
The QAnon theory started on message boards and distributed information that President Trump was fighting a secret battle against the “Deep State.”
