Senator Introduces Legislation That Could Thwart Dems Plans To Extend Counting Mail-In Ballots

Sen. Rick Scott did something that many of his constituents should desire to jump on and get it passed and moved to Pres. Trump’s desk as soon as possible.

Democrats are playing with fire by turning the general election into a laughing stock worldwide. In a few battleground states such as Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennslyvania, legislation was passed to allow the counting of ballots anywhere from 6-9 days after November 3, 2020.

Facebook has already said they will stop anyone from claiming a winner on election night if there are votes left to count.

[FOX News] Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., introduced legislation last week to establish federal standards regarding the counting of ballots, ahead of the upcoming presidential election between Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Trump.

The Verifiable, Orderly, & Timely Election Results (VOTER) Act would create standards for various vote-by-mail systems that exist across the country and would require all eligible ballots to be counted and reported within 24 hours after polls close on Election Day, according to a press release from Scott’s office.

If the bill became law, it would require voting precincts to report the total number of in-person and mail-in ballots they received — one hour after polls close — to identify “the total universe of votes to be counted in the election.”

Mail-in ballots must be requested at least 21 days before a federal election and would have to be returned and received by the time polls close on Election Day, if the measure passed.

The bill would also prohibit the possession of another person’s mail-in ballot, with exceptions for certain family members and caregivers.

Now, there’s a smart move. How is this not a good thing?

If we are being provided the full details of the bill, it is excellent! There are necessary criteria that must be established to guarantee safety guards for election results, one of which is the cutoff time for ballot receptions! Twenty-four hours after election day is a responsible time limit! Otherwise, election results could be delayed indefinitely! There are enough potential issues to delay election results, without adding more.

If there are an exorbitant number of delayed votes, the states may appeal to the Supreme Court for a time extension. However, if the delayed votes are incomplete /and or fail to comply with mail-in ballot criteria, the Supreme Court will likely discount them, to preserve Presidential election results integrity.

If a person is unable to comply with voting instructions, they are really not qualified to cast a vote. Voters need to plan ahead for potential voting problems.

It’s not like anyone is discriminating against them. This way, the votes that are being mailed in are going to be counted in time for the final result. And if it looks like Biden wins, so be it.

Any legitimate vote that had a random error or delay because of human error will still count if the voter followed the specific state rules. The state will decide as per all elections. Gore-Bush took 36 days to verify so historic precedent is already set.
